INSURANCE POLICY
Should the optional Charlie Car Rental damage waiver be denied by you the client.......

VALID PROOF OF COMPREHENSIVE AND LIABILITY INSURANCE WILL BE NEEDED AT THE TIME OF RENTAL.

Please call your insurance company to make sure our vehicle is covered by your insurance. Policy number and/or insurance card.

High season reservations policy
Due to the high demand during high season a strict ONE HOUR grace period for reservation arrivals is observed. If you think that you will arrive late for your reservation you must call to extend your arrival time in order to avoid your reservation to be automatically cancelled.

DEBIT CARD RENTAL RULES
ONLY bank issued cards are permitted. Renter must be 25 or over. Only a 2dr,4dr compact or mid-size car can be rented. Damage waiver is optional when proof of insurance is provided. The rental must be pre-paid at the time of the rental and an additional $250.00 deposit is required. The deposit is charged at the time of rental and refunded at the end of the rental.

Age Requirements
Minimum Age: 21
Age 21 to 24 - $10.00 p/dy surcharge applies. ONLY a 2dr, compact or mid-size car can be rented. Valid NON-DEBIT credit card. Optional damage waiver = $19.99 p/dy with a $500.00 ded.
Only a sub-compact, compact,or mid-size vehicle can be rented by anyone under 25 years of age.

Additional Drivers
1 additional drivers permitted an additional chargeof $ 7.00 applies per day(per additional driver)

Driving Area
Car canot be taken off of the island. If the car is taken by ferry to a neighboring Island (Vieques or Culebra), LDW will not cover.

Liability is covered by the renter and not Charlie Car Rental unless you purchase our Basic Liability Insurance (BLI). Please provide your liability insurance information at the time of rental if you would like to deny our coverage.

Cancelation Policy
CANCELATION POLICY: Cancel at any time however a 24 hour advance cancellation ia greatly appreciated. Should the cancellation be due to the rate please let us know that you found a lower rate and if your rental dates fall between September 6 - December 15 & February 1 - June 15 excuding any holidays or long weekends that fall in between we will match the lower rate found with proof of rate.

DAMAGE WAIVER IS OPTIONAL WHEN A VALID NON-DEBIT CREDIT CARD IS USED. WHEN A DEBIT CARD IS USED PROoF OFCOMPREHENSIVE AND LIABILITY INSURANCE IS NEEDED. LIABILITY: COVERAGE IS PROVIDED BY THE CLIENT AND NOT CHARLIE CAR RENTAL. PLEASE BRING YOUR AUTO POLICY AS PROOF OF COVERAGE.AN OPTIONAL COVERAGE OF BASIC LIABILITY INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE AT $13.99 P/DY SHOULD YOU NOT WANT TO RISK A RAISE IN YOUR POLICY DUE TO A CLAIM.
